If
you have gone through the study guide and know the answers to all those
questions, then you will pass the test.
The study guide was built for the purpose of reviewing your knowledge in
prepartion for the exam. All the subjects you will
encounter on the exam are contained in the study guide. Obviously, there are
more questions than will appear on the exam, but the all the topics on the exam
are covered within the study guide.
Between the study guide and the practice exam on the channel partner portal, you
should be well prepared for the TB1200 exam.
Note: For others who may be reading this, I do want to make the point that the
study guide is made as a study aide and not as a way to learn the knowledge
necessary. I highly recommend signing up for the traditional classroom courses
or for the virtual course for SAP product knowledge. And of course, there is
also e-learning. One of the main advantage of a more formal course, is that you
have the opportunity to ask questions of the instructor(s).

Currently it is not possible to download the e-learning. However, you can
purchase a DVD with all the e-learning in order to be able to watch it off-line.
The training materials published on the DVD are:
- SAP Business One 8.8 Product Training (English)
- SAP Crystal Reports for SAP Business One 8.8 E-Learning (English)
- SAP Business One Classroom Training Material 8.8 - Logistics / TB1000 (9
languages)
- SAP Business One Classroom Training Material 8.8 - Accounting / TB1100 (9
languages)
- SAP Business One Classroom Training Material 8.8 - Implementation & Support /
TB1200 (9 languages)
- SAP Business One Classroom Training Material 8.8 - Software Development Kit /
TB1300 (English)
These training materials are developed by SAP and available for a small price
(EUR 2.50 plus shipping) to customers and partners (only costs for logistics are
covered ). All non-SAP related people pay a significantly higher price to cover
also some of the production and development costs. The full price is EUR 250.-
Partners can use these materials to train and prepare themselves for
certification. These materials can also be handed out to customers to ensure
users get trained on the product.
How to purchase:
Partners and customers can log on to the SAP Knowledge shop for customers and
partners. (S-User login required). The partner and customer price is EUR 2.50
per CD to cover logistical costs of production..

On the Channel Partner Portal the 8.82 delta learning map is being prepared and

SAP Business One Certification Updates
http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1991375

The SAP Business One release 2007* certifications will expire in the partner
program at the end of 2011 when the 2007 release goes out of mainstream
maintenance.
Additionally, prices for certifications taken at Pearson Vue centers will
increase on August 15.
Therefore, it may be to your advantage to consider taking an 8.8 certification
exam in the near future.
Currently, the passing scores for the 8.8 exams are as follows:
C_TB1200_88: 64%
C_TB1300_88: 57%

I would say that the SAP Business One 8.8 Implementation and Support
certification is different than previous exams. Over 20 implementation partners
worldwide were surveyed before the 8.8 implementation and support exam was
created. They were asked what the most important skills and knowledge areas for
a consultant. Those categories were used to develop the new exam.
Like previous exams, the certification is made up of multiple choice questions,
however, previous exams were more focused on tasks and windows inside the
application. As you can see from the breakdown of topics, more emphasis is now
placed on higher level analytical skills, such as mapping customer business
processes to standard SAP Business One processes.
I suggest you try the practice test to get a feel for the types of questions on
the exam. Another useful tool to help prepare for the exam is the Study Guide,
which based on your previous post, it looks like you've been reviewing. If you
can answer all the questions in the study guide, I'm positive you can answer the
questions in the exam.

Rahul gave you the link for the SAP Business One education
page. That's an excellent place to start.
I would like to point out that a great resource for studying for the
certification is the Study Guide.
On that page you will see links inside the description for the Study Guide and
for the Practice Test:
Study Guide for SAP Business One 8.8 Training & Certification now available!
This guide will help the experienced consultant to determine if he has knowledge
gaps and will point to relevant training materials on the topics. This will help
with the preparation for the SAP Business One 8.8 certification (C_TB1200_88).
Access the study guide here.
https://websmp103.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000848002010E.pdf
If you can easily answer the questions, then you likely have the knowledge
necessary to take the 8.8 certification. Your next step should be to take the
practice test for the certification.

Hi Steve,
Sorry for the late reply - was not visiting the CSN for a while, will do more
frequent again.
The C_TB1200_88 certification has a pass score of 67%. This is different from
the previous version as the questions are different from the 2007 version.
Additionally the self-test questions are not identical but the simular questions
as on the real exam. What we did in the development we build 2 times the number
of questions needed for an exam. After valiadation, some questions were dropped.
80 question made it into the exam. THose questions that passed the validation
but were not inlcuded in the exam were actually used in the self-test. Although
the number of questions are not the same, the type of questions and difficulty
level are the same.
The study guide is published to help you prepare for the certification. It will
help you indentify those area's where you would need to focus on and the onces
you are already familiar with.
About SAP Test centers / PearsonVue.
If you take the certification test at an SAP site or PearsonVue, in both cases
they will be recognized by SAP. I get a weekly report from PV with the results
and count into the partner program requirements.
Finally on the topic of the innovations & 8.81 additions.
The certification will include only the 8.80 release, not the innovations and
new functionalities of 8.8*. Those are 'extras' in the delta learning maps but
are not included in the certification.
Pls let me know if you have any additional questions /
comments.
